Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a mat underneath it?
No. The Platform moves you approximately 0.05mm, the equivalent of two thin sheets of paper stacked, and that doesn't transfer to your floor. It sits directly on hardwood, tile, carpet, or concrete. A mat is purely cosmetic if you'd like one.
Which accessory should I buy first?
Most owners don't need any. Want to lift weights during your session? Start with the Compact Workout Stand. Want something to hold onto? The HD Walker. Everything else comes down to how you use your Platform.
Can I use hand weights while standing on the Platform?
Yes, and plenty of owners do. Start with a weight you can handle comfortably without holding on, then build from there once you feel settled. If you'd rather have support, the HD Walker gives you a handhold.
Can I order a replacement power cord?
Yes. The Power Supply & Cord Replacement is $75, stocked here in the US. If your Platform is still under warranty, call (877) 758-8368 first; depending on what happened, it may be covered.
Are these genuine Juvent accessories?
Yes. Everything here is made specifically for the Micro-Impact Platform® rather than adapted from generic fitness equipment, so it fits and works the way it should.
