Around 2004, I was diagnosed with low bone density. At one point they said that I was almost at osteoporosis stage (I was at -2.4 and -2.5 is osteoporosis). I was only 47 years old.
My mother broke a hip at 56 years old, and had to have a hip replacement. My dad has had both of his hips replaced. My mother has osteoporosis so bad she can’t hardly walk. She is bent over when she walks, which isn’t much.
The doctor put me on all of the osteoporosis medications that they know of, and none of them agreed with me, and I got increasingly sick every time I took them.
I decided to take the natural route. I was tired of getting sick, and the medication wat not helping.
I got a Power Plate, and I think it did help a little bit, but it was too rough on my body.
I decided to buy a Juvent in December 2016. I did the glass of water test on my Power Plate, and it flew across the room!
Since buying the Juvent, I have been doing 20 minutes/day. It doesn’t even feel like exercise! The first time, it did feel like exercise, but then I must have gotten used to it.
In December 2017, I made an appointment with Life Line Screening. One of the things they test for is bone density.
I hadn’t had my bone density checked for over a year. (before I bought the Juvent) The last time I had it checked, they said it was low.
I was hoping that having the Juvent would make a difference. When I got my results back, they said my bone density was NORMAL!!!!!! NORMAL!!!! How awesome is THAT?! WOO HOO
I think I’ll be doing 40 minutes/day now, to see what happens. I’m pretty sure my bone density will be even better the next time I have it checked.
